Our Frequently Asked Questions
The IAPAM is the only provider of aesthetic medical training courses that has 5 board certified cosmetic dermatologists on its teaching faculty, ensuring the best possible education for the attendees. Unlike other programs that say they have dermatologists or plastic surgeons on their faculty (who are often not at the actual training program), we actually list them on our faculty page.
Our Botulinum Toxin (Xeomin®, Dysport®, Botox®) training is done in a clean medical facility, not a hotel room. Your cosmetic injectable training environment will be similar to your practice, since the injection technique for injecting a patient in a hotel room chair is much different, than a patient in a proper medical treatment table (chair).
The IAPAM offers the most comprehensive on-going support. We also include a year of telephone/e-mail support for any medical spa or aesthetic practice questions. Members also gain access to the IAPAM Member Only social networking groups, including LinkedIn.
Incorporating Botulinum Toxins is certainly part of a successful practice, and we dedicate 3/4 of a day on the topic. However, you will also learn about much more profitable aesthetic procedures that have very little start-up costs.
